IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects.

• Develop and sustain project schedules and plans.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.

• Manage resources, capacity, and team assignments.

• Oversee project budgets, costs, and hours utilized.

• Monitor performance indicators and progress on deliveries.

• Lead project status meetings, reporting, and governance activities.

• Ensure alignment between business areas and technical teams.

• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Identify, analyze, and address project risks.

• Resolve obstacles and escalate critical issues when necessary.

• Monitor deadlines, quality, and achievement of objectives.

• Coordinate with vendors and partners involved in project deliveries.

• Support acceptance testing, implementation, and transition to operations.

• Maintain up-to-date project documentation and artifacts.

• Prepare management reports and executive presentations.

• Manage scope changes and evaluate their impacts.

• Track initiatives for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

• Foster communication among all parties involved.

• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.

• Aid decision-making through data analysis and performance indicator evaluation.

• Ensure that deliveries meet established deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in managing IT projects within multidisciplinary settings.

• Experience leading projects utilizing Agile, traditional, or hybrid methodologies.

• Proven capability in managing schedules, scope, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholders.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with both technical and business teams.

• Analytical and results-oriented mindset.

• Proficient problem-solving and conflict-management skills.

• Experience in preparing executive reports and management presentations.

• Knowledgeable in software development, infrastructure, cloud computing, information security, and systems integration processes.

• Desirable knowledge includes: Microsoft Project, advanced Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, project management methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, risk management, IT governance, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud fundamentals, as well as contract and vendor management.
