This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and implement technical field deployments, which include the configuration, installation, and testing of VOIP-integrated RapidSOS solutions at emergency communications centers (ECCs).
• Take ownership of the complete implementation timeline from onboarding to go-live, ensuring all technical and logistical tasks are executed on-site, punctually, and to a high quality standard.
• Travel regularly (75%) to public safety customer locations throughout the U.S. for on-site installations and technical troubleshooting.
• Collaborate closely with local IT teams, system administrators, and telephony providers to seamlessly integrate RapidSOS products into diverse communication environments.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Account Management, and Customer Success teams to escalate issues and enhance field execution.
• Serve as the technical liaison and subject matter expert on VoIP infrastructure requirements and best practices for deployment.
• Identify project scope and technical risks, assisting in overcoming challenges both internally and externally.
• Collect feedback from field installations and customer interactions to foster continuous improvement in our implementation playbooks, processes, and documentation.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in field implementation, VoIP systems engineering, or technical project management with responsibilities for on-site deployments.
• Extensive knowledge of VoIP infrastructure (e.g., SIP, PBX, SBCs), telephony, and preferably public safety technology ecosystems.
• Demonstrated experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software/hardware solutions in live production settings.
• Ability to represent RapidSOS professionally in highly visible customer environments, utilizing strong communication and coordination skills to guide partners through technical implementation steps and timelines.
• Proven project management capabilities, effective problem-solving skills, and exceptional organizational skills to ensure successful outcomes and efficient task execution.
