
Technical Project Manager – AI Compute, Data Center Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the technical pre-approval vetting process (assessing space, power, cooling, and network floor plans prior to site acquisition) and take charge of the entire deployment lifecycle until operational handoff.
• Manage the full project lifecycle for the deployment of high-capacity GPU clusters.
• Propel progress from pre-approval site evaluation through infrastructure design, physical implementation, cabling, commissioning, documentation, and the final operational transition.
• Act as the central point of coordination among Data Center operators, Network Engineering, Hardware Systems, Facilities, Procurement, and Enterprise IT teams to align on common goals and timelines.
• Identify critical paths, schedule dependencies, and project milestones.
• Continuously monitor progress while ensuring that both internal teams and external vendors are accountable for providing updates.
• Proactively detect spatial, power, or logistical constraints early in the planning stages.
• Alleviate post-procurement delays, budget exceedances, and technical obstacles.
• Keep precise project documentation, inventory tracking, and clear status reporting for executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Technical expertise and a proven history of delivering complex hardware infrastructure or data center engineering projects.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical project management within high-density or infrastructure settings.
• Strong understanding of DC facility design, power delivery systems, thermal management, and spatial planning for high-density environments.
• Direct experience or solid foundational knowledge of high-density AI cluster architectures.
• Capability to read, interpret, and enhance CAD drawings, as well as to create rack elevations, single-line diagrams, and floor plans.
• Proven ability to enforce accountability among technical, engineering, and third-party vendor teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with contemporary project management software (Jira, Confluence).
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a history of translating technical complexities into succinct updates for leadership.
