This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Oversee and expand multiple security programs by establishing milestones, success criteria, resource allocation, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of security and access management solutions.
• Gather business and operational requirements from internal teams and assist in documenting business/process requirement specifications.
• Proactively identify and address delivery obstacles, risks, and issues impacting projects, while promoting automation and process enhancements for security and governance programs.
• Engage in operational security workflows, vulnerability management patching, IAM initiatives, and governance programs.
• Create clear, concise reporting dashboards to provide real-time program status updates on key metrics and KPIs directly to Executive Leadership.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams on Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure sustainable and comfortable delivery rates.
• Assist and facilitate the collection of evidence for internal and external audits/assessments (such as SOC 1 and 2, PCI, FedRAMP, and ISO 27001).
• Champion the implementation of tools and dashboards to enhance traceability and transparency across risk initiatives.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing technical security, risk, or compliance projects, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience; relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CRISC, PMP) are highly preferred.
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and project portfolio management tools.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, capable of following up and following through on multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Self-motivated with strong time management, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
• Capable of flourishing in fast-paced, evolving environments while driving structured outcomes.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, Slack, and related AI capabilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a globally distributed team.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based software (SaaS), AWS, GCP, and cybersecurity/privacy frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
