Technical Program Manager – New Product Introduction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete program timeline for new product launches, integrating milestones from engineering, manufacturing, and business readiness from concept to launch.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration among Engineering, Product, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure readiness for launch and clear responsibilities.

• Establish, monitor, and communicate key program milestones, readiness checkpoints, and decision-making points.

• Identify risks and dependencies early, ensuring clarity across teams.

• Collaborate with the Engineering Technical Program Manager (TPM) to synchronize software and firmware execution, release readiness, and engineering risks with overall program commitments.

• Work alongside the China Hardware Program Lead to integrate factory timelines, sample availability, certification milestones, and manufacturing risks into the global strategy.

• Occasionally coordinate after hours with global manufacturing and engineering partners during critical development phases.

• Identify and navigate cross-functional risks and trade-offs related to scope, timeline, cost, and quality.

• Ensure that non-engineering teams have clear deliverables and timelines for successful product launches.

• Promote structured communication and documentation of decisions, changes, and dependencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in technical program or program management within consumer hardware, software, or connected devices.

• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional new product introductions from planning to launch.

• Strong knowledge of hardware and software development life cycles.

• Experience in coordinating globally distributed teams.

• Proficient in using Jira, Confluence, and program planning tools.

• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in a startup environment that is fast-paced and ambiguous is preferred.
