This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more states.
β’ Take ownership of the complete program timeline for new product launches, integrating milestones from engineering, manufacturing, and business readiness from concept to launch.
β’ Foster cross-functional collaboration among Engineering, Product, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure readiness for launch and clear responsibilities.
β’ Establish, monitor, and communicate key program milestones, readiness checkpoints, and decision-making points.
β’ Identify risks and dependencies early, ensuring clarity across teams.
β’ Collaborate with the Engineering Technical Program Manager (TPM) to synchronize software and firmware execution, release readiness, and engineering risks with overall program commitments.
β’ Work alongside the China Hardware Program Lead to integrate factory timelines, sample availability, certification milestones, and manufacturing risks into the global strategy.
β’ Occasionally coordinate after hours with global manufacturing and engineering partners during critical development phases.
β’ Identify and navigate cross-functional risks and trade-offs related to scope, timeline, cost, and quality.
β’ Ensure that non-engineering teams have clear deliverables and timelines for successful product launches.
β’ Promote structured communication and documentation of decisions, changes, and dependencies.
β’ Over 7 years of experience in technical program or program management within consumer hardware, software, or connected devices.
β’ Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional new product introductions from planning to launch.
β’ Strong knowledge of hardware and software development life cycles.
β’ Experience in coordinating globally distributed teams.
β’ Proficient in using Jira, Confluence, and program planning tools.
β’ Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management abilities.
β’ Experience in a startup environment that is fast-paced and ambiguous is preferred.
