This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate closely with the Program Manager to ensure technical execution aligns with contract deliverables, milestones, and customer expectations.
• Take ownership of the technical delivery timeline while the Program Manager oversees budget and external communications.
• Lead the scheduling and resource allocation for hardware integration, engineering, production, validation, and key development milestones.
• Convert the technical roadmap into actionable execution plans that encompass engineering development, manufacturing readiness, supply chain, quality assurance, and operations.
• Monitor technical risks, dependencies, and obstacles; initiate mitigation strategies and escalate issues to leadership proactively.
• Coordinate efforts among engineering, quality, supply chain, operations, and subcontractors to ensure synchronized execution.
• Facilitate technical decision-making and trade-off discussions, documenting decisions and linking them to program requirements.
• Assist in proposal, technical volume, or task order planning efforts with technical scoping and estimation.
• Keep track of resources and crucial dependencies, including long-lead procurement, tooling, production capacity, qualification testing, and supplier readiness.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related technical field.
• Over 7 years of experience in technical program management, manufacturing program management, and/or systems integration.
• Strong knowledge of hardware product development and manufacturing lifecycles.
• Experience managing intricate hardware development programs from concept to production.
• Background in aerospace, robotics, defense, automotive, or autonomous systems.
• Proven experience with various program management methodologies.
• Experience managing or leading the integration of software and hardware systems in a professional setting.
• Strong technical proficiency in architecture, technical risks, and trade-offs.
• Experience managing timelines and dependencies across multiple workstreams or cross-functional teams, including subcontractors.
• Proficiency with program/project tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Monday.com, or Asana.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at the executive level and clearly translate technical concepts.
• United States citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a United States security clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a good command of the English language.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
• Capability to use a keyboard, mouse, and other equipment with or without accommodations.
• Ability to maintain focus during business hours.
