This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan, +2 more countries.
β’ Lead the implementation of Salmon's Loyalty & Engagement platform, which includes its rules engine, ledger, event pipeline, and customer-facing mobile and web applications.
β’ Take charge of the in-house loyalty service and oversee the team assembled from the ground up.
β’ Collaborate with the Platform Owner to co-manage the roadmap, working alongside backend and frontend engineering, QA, Product Owners, system owners, legal/compliance, and marketing.
β’ Transform unclear initiative scopes into a structured delivery plan while maintaining the critical path.
β’ Decompose the initiative into a delivery plan that encompasses the gateway, ledger, event flows, and frontends, while mapping dependencies.
β’ Establish functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and test cases for earning, burning, tiering, challenges, and reward delivery.
β’ Design and implement campaign and reward setup workflows, ensuring compliance through configuration, pre-checks, reviews, and go-live processes.
β’ Collaborate with engineering and QA to guarantee the accuracy of the loyalty ledger, cross-service integrations, analytics event contracts, reconciliation, idempotency, and data quality.
β’ Manage dependencies and risks, align stakeholders on timelines and priorities, and highlight trade-offs.
β’ Oversee delivery and platform health metrics, including time-to-launch, reliability of point and reward flows, pre-launch check coverage, and data quality.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Systems Analyst.
β’ Practical experience with web and/or mobile products.
β’ Background in FinTech or MarTech is advantageous.
β’ Familiarity with platforms that integrate backend services and customer-facing frontends, such as loyalty, payments, CRM, or analytics.
β’ Strong structural and technical reasoning abilities.
β’ Capability to dissect ambiguous problems, interpret specifications, pose engineering questions, and evaluate trade-offs across APIs, data contracts, and integrations.
β’ Comfort in working with balances or ledgers, including accuracy, edge cases, and reconciliation.
β’ Excellent communication skills in English.
