This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +34 more states.
• Oversee the comprehensive implementation of technical programs from initial concept to final deployment, ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives.
• Partner with engineering, product, security, compliance, and operations teams to establish project scope, goals, deliverables, and inter-team dependencies.
• Create detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and track dependencies while ensuring clear communication of ownership, roles, and responsibilities.
• Manage project risks by proactively identifying technical, operational, and delivery-related risks, developing strategies for mitigation, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Act as the primary liaison for project updates, reporting progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate efforts across teams and departments to manage technical dependencies, optimize resource allocation, and resolve conflicts.
• Facilitate cross-functional execution by identifying dependencies early, leading technical discussions, and assisting engineering teams in overcoming delivery obstacles.
• Promote continuous enhancement in engineering project delivery processes, utilizing agile methodologies and industry best practices.
• Ensure that all project documentation, executive status reports, and communications are clear, concise, and accessible to stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage project budgets and resources, ensuring projects are completed within defined scope and financial limitations.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation among cross-functional teams.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or in progress.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex, cross-functional SaaS or infrastructure engineering programs in DevOps, security, and cloud-oriented environments.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, ISO 27001, and NIST 800-53.
• Proficient understanding of DevOps tools and practices including Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD.
• Strong grasp of software development processes, including Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and operational teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for influencing stakeholders and driving decision-making.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Asana, or similar platforms.
