Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the effective execution of Kobie’s product portfolio and enhance delivery across engineering teams

• Supervise the product lifecycle from intake and discovery to final delivery

• Maintain an updated awareness of product and feature queues

• Manage dashboards that track queue volume, SLA compliance, backlog health, and delivery timelines

• Enhance request and task workflows across queues to reduce wait times and boost service delivery

• Utilize data to pinpoint areas for improvement and offer leadership insights

• Guide quarterly planning sessions and ensure commitment alignment among teams

• Utilize Jira to monitor and track Product Owner updates for features within Program Increments

• Ensure documentation and reporting of scope, budget, timeline changes, and associated risks

• Monitor, report, and resolve risks and issues

• Automate reporting on status and progress

• Communicate status, risks, dependencies, and timelines to stakeholders, including executive summaries

• Act as the main point of contact for product backlogs, feature status, development tasks, implementation-related features, and client-committed initiatives

• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders regarding feature scope and delivery timelines

• Manage handoffs between teams

• Assist in prioritizing initiatives based on strategic goals, resource limitations, and ROI

• Create best practices, templates, frameworks, and dashboards

• Streamline workflows and enhance delivery transparency

• Lead business transition management

• Leverage metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement and operational maturity

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in program or project management

• At least 2 years dedicated to product or technology initiatives

• Strong grasp of Agile, Scrum, Lean, and contemporary product and software development methodologies

• Capability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a dynamic, cross-functional setting

• Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data for operational enhancements

• Technical expertise with the Atlassian suite, including Jira, Jira Service Management, and Jira Product Discovery

• Proficiency in designing and managing workflows that align with business processes and platform capabilities

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Comfort in engaging with both technical and business stakeholders

• Ability to influence, collaborate, and lead across various organizational levels

• Willingness to travel as necessary
