This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead the planning and execution of complex, multi-team technical programs that involve client interactions across platform, cloud operations, product engineering, data, and security.
• Define the scope, problem statements, success metrics, and delivery milestones in collaboration with engineering, product management, design, QA, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams.
• Develop and enhance integrated program plans, timelines, dependency maps, risk registers, and release plans.
• Oversee cross-functional dependencies, eliminate blockers, and escalate risks with data-driven solutions.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, technical deep dives, architecture and design discussions, and program synchronization meetings.
• Implement and refine program governance, reporting cadences, and operational best practices.
• Define and manage program-level KPIs, monitor variances, and drive data-informed adjustments.
• Ensure technical preparedness for production releases, addressing aspects such as security, scalability, performance, disaster recovery, and operational health.
• Lead change management initiatives and align programs with Guidewire’s vision for AI, GenAI, cloud, and data platforms.
• Identify opportunities to enhance developer workflows and increase operational efficiency.
• Manage client relationships, including considerations for contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Connect distributed teams to achieve secure, scalable, AI-enabled cloud platform outcomes.
• 5–7+ years of overall professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in technical program management overseeing complex, multi-team software projects.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of modern software architecture, distributed and multi-tenant SaaS cloud systems, and platform engineering principles.
• Experience in defining KPIs, creating dashboards or reporting tools, and utilizing data to inform decisions.
• Practical experience with tools such as JIRA, Aha!, Confluence, and Google Sheets.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in change management principles and methodologies.
• Capability to adopt and leverage AI and data-driven insights to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
• Preferred: experience with cloud operations, platform reliability, AI/ML, GenAI, or large-scale data platforms.
• Preferred: experience in P&C insurance or other heavily regulated industries.
• Preferred: familiarity with vendor management, SLAs, and contract implications.
• Preferred: experience in cloud, AI, or data platform transformations.
