Technical Program Manager – Engineering Excellence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and lead 1-3 significant strategic initiatives each quarter that involve multiple teams and departments.

• Serve as the primary coordinator and sole point of accountability for complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders.

• Navigate through competing priorities while fostering consensus among departments with varying objectives.

• Establish success criteria, monitor progress, manage dependencies, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

• Identify and address risks proactively before they escalate into blockers.

• Drive initiatives from their inception through successful execution and post-launch evaluation.

• Design and continually enhance engineering workflows, including agile methodologies, sprint cycles, and release processes.

• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the development lifecycle from code commit to production deployment.

• Set engineering best practices and standards that can be scaled across teams.

• Create dashboards and reporting systems that deliver actionable insights to engineering leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) or in a similar capacity managing cross-functional technical programs.

• A proven history of leading complex, cross-functional technical initiatives that involve 5 or more teams or departments.

• Strong project and program management abilities, with a track record of driving initiatives from conception to completion.

• Demonstrated experience in implementing metrics and measurement systems.

• Excellent analytical skills with the capability to convert data into actionable insights.

• Familiarity with modern development practices.

• Knowledge of agile methodologies and their practical applications.

• Outstanding communication skills, effective with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in influencing without authority within engineering organizations.

• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, with a comprehensive understanding of the full development lifecycle.
