📋 Description

• Take ownership of and continuously enhance the comprehensive qualification process for new computing capacity, from the initial provider intake to the final go/no-go recommendation.

• Execute multiple provider evaluations simultaneously, establishing timelines, monitoring progress, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on requirements and deadlines.

• Collaborate with infrastructure engineering, network engineering, data center engineering, and SRE teams to plan and coordinate technical validation, subsequently translating their findings into clear recommendations for leadership.

• Assess provider technical specifications and questionnaire responses for thoroughness and accuracy, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and risks that need further investigation.

• Uphold the standards, templates, and documentation that outline the specifications for computing, networking, storage, power, cooling, and operational support.

• Create a structured, auditable record of evaluation outcomes that guides sourcing decisions and scales the qualification process as the team expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in technical program or project management, infrastructure program management, or a similar technical operations role, preferably involving hardware, data centers, or large-scale computing environments.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, cross-functional workstreams to meet deadlines, showcasing strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.

• Technical fluency in data center infrastructure, including server and GPU hardware, high-performance networking (InfiniBand or Ethernet fabrics), storage, and the fundamentals of power and cooling; sufficient depth to interpret detailed technical specifications and formulate pertinent questions.

• Hands-on experience with data: capable of writing scripts or queries (such as Python or SQL) to compare, validate, and analyze provider specifications and test outcomes independently.
