This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of comprehensive program execution for significant cross-functional initiatives β managing everything from kickoff and scoping to launch and retrospective.
β’ Develop and sustain program plans that align dependencies across engineering, product, design, and data teams, ensuring everyone is on the same page regarding scope, milestones, and timelines.
β’ Propel the operational cadence β facilitate planning cycles, standups, reviews, and launch readiness; ensure meetings are focused, decisions are explicit, and follow-ups are accountable.
β’ Detect, escalate, and resolve risks and blockers early on, proactively clearing obstacles for teams and rearranging work when priorities change.
β’ Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex engineering scenarios into concise updates for leadership and providing clear context for the teams executing the work.
β’ Enhance our operational methods β implement lightweight, scalable processes for planning, prioritization, and delivery that minimize friction instead of creating it.
β’ Maintain a singular source of truth regarding program status, dependencies, and decisions, allowing anyone to quickly grasp the current situation at a glance.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, or a closely related position within a software or technology company.
β’ A solid technical foundation β capable of reading a system design document, following discussions on architectural trade-offs, and engaging competently with engineers.
β’ A proven history of delivering complex, cross-functional software programs on schedule, coordinating multiple teams with competing priorities.
β’ Outstanding organizational and communication skills β able to write clearly, conduct efficient meetings, and keep large groups aligned.
β’ Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change β skilled at creating structure in uncertain situations and adapting as priorities shift in a fast-paced startup environment.
β’ Strong judgment in prioritization and risk assessment β adept at identifying what is most critical, what can be delayed, and what could jeopardize a launch.
β’ Familiarity with modern delivery tools (e.g., GitHub, Linear/Jira, Notion) and an instinct for leveraging processes to empower, rather than hinder, the team.
