Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and responsibility for significant initiatives within the Application Platform teams.

• Foster a collaborative culture among stakeholders to promote shared understanding, effective data gathering, integration, and usage.

• Manage uncertainty and analyze complex scenarios, making data-driven decisions and aligning stakeholders towards common objectives.

• Collaborate closely with development, product management, engineering teams, and operations to design, define scope, and manage execution.

• Regularly evaluate and refine key improvement areas, implement scalable solutions, and encourage a culture of ongoing enhancement.

• Identify, oversee, and coordinate dependencies and integrations across various projects, teams, and systems.

• Excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adjusting to changing priorities and evolving business requirements.

• Ensure program governance by identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks.

• Anticipate and manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables throughout the program lifecycle.

• Lead cross-functional meetings and workshops, guiding teams on best practices, adherence to processes, and excellence in delivery.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive program and project schedules.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex, cross-functional software development projects.

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in Cloud technologies, microservices, distributed systems, AWS, and concepts related to the Big Data ecosystem.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Aha, or other project tracking and reporting tools is advantageous.

• Professional Program/Project Management certifications are a plus.

• Familiarity with AI capabilities in project tracking and reporting tools is beneficial.
