Manager, Technical Program Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and motivate a team of Technical Program Managers, BI Engineers, and Release Managers.

• Oversee complex, large-scale technical programs that encompass cloud software, networking hardware, and embedded systems.

• Direct end-to-end release management, ensuring the seamless deployment of cloud-based software, firmware, and network hardware.

• Manage, approve, and uphold Change Management and Risk Management plans.

• Oversee the complete development lifecycle of solutions from start to finish.

• Administer a multimillion-dollar portfolio across various programs, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost efficiency.

• Implement a data-driven methodology to monitor program milestones, dependencies, and KPIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of experience in technical program management.

• At least 5 years in a leadership role involving regular 1:1s, providing performance feedback, coaching, and managing employee performance.

• Extensive experience in high-tech networking, cloud infrastructure, or related sectors; strong understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and large-scale software releases.

• Solid background in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and software development lifecycle management.

• Proven success in leading release management activities within a fast-paced, technology-centric environment utilizing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities with a proven capacity to manage relationships among executives, engineers, and cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex challenges and making strategic decisions promptly.
