IT Program Manager – Highly Regulated Industries

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate projects and programs from their inception through to successful completion

• Serve as the main liaison for senior stakeholders and C-level executives

• Propel transformation, digitalization, IT, and organizational change efforts

• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and quality objectives

• Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and harmonize diverse interests

• Actively mitigate risks, address issues, and handle escalations

• Contribute to ongoing improvement and knowledge dissemination

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in leading complex projects, programs, or transformation initiatives

• Experience in highly regulated sectors such as railways, transportation, infrastructure, utilities, telecommunications, or other large enterprise environments is highly sought after

• Demonstrated success in large corporate settings with experience in managing executive-level stakeholders

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities

• Capability to independently oversee customer engagements in complex organizational settings

• Experience in organizational change and transformation management

• Background in multinational corporations and matrix organizations

• Consulting experience and/or certifications in project management (PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, SAFe)

• Professional fluency in both German and English
