This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of ongoing competitive analysis across product launches, pricing alterations, messaging changes, and sales strategies. Develop AI-enhanced workflows to collate signals from websites, changelogs, reviews, analyst insights, and market discussions.

• Synthesize findings into clear, opinionated insights that elucidate implications for our positioning and sales tactics. Maintain and continuously update battlecards and competitive briefs that mirror current market conditions. Recognize emerging trends and convey insights and recommendations to product and revenue leadership.

• Collaborate closely with sales teams to translate positioning into actionable talk tracks and objection-handling strategies. Create and refine battlecards, differentiation frameworks, and competitive guides that enhance our competitive stance throughout the sales cycle.

• Engage in deal reviews to comprehend how competitive dynamics play out in real conversations. Train representatives on the effective use of competitive materials, and continuously improve enablement resources based on feedback from the field.

• Develop repeatable AI-enabled research processes to monitor and analyze competitive signals. Experiment with automation, agents, and prompt systems to enhance the quality and speed of insight generation.

• Set clear standards for when to depend on AI outputs versus applying human judgment. Continuously enhance research systems to improve signal quality and minimize noise.

• Convert competitive insights into concise, compelling messaging. Assist in refining differentiation narratives that sales can confidently present in crucial discussions.

• Monitor the adoption and effectiveness of competitive materials across the sales organization. Collect feedback from representatives and leadership to evaluate clarity, usability, and impact on deals.

• Improve content and workflows based on measurable effects on positioning confidence, objection handling, and win rates.

• Gradually broaden the scope to include partner marketing initiatives, contributing to the development of co-marketing narratives and enablement with strategic ecosystem partners.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in product marketing, sales, competitive intelligence, or strategy.

• Exceptional writing skills with the capability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.

• Proficient in reading and reasoning about code, APIs, and technical documentation to grasp product capabilities and competitive differentiators.

• Structured thinker with strong synthesis abilities (capable of transforming noisy inputs into clear frameworks and insights).

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with sales teams and supporting live deals.

• Comfortable utilizing AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as part of daily workflows.

• Deep curiosity regarding the behaviors of products, markets, and buyers.

• Self-motivated individual who flourishes in fast-paced environments and takes ownership of results.
