Senior Sales Enablement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Formulate the Sales Training and Education strategy that aligns with ISC2 business and sales objectives while fulfilling operational regional needs, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes from available resources.

• Organize, prepare for, and lead assigned sales courses from the sales curriculum, guaranteeing an outstanding learning experience for participants and equipping them with the knowledge to apply program concepts within ISC2's context.

• Ensure that all sales personnel, both newcomers and veterans, receive training that meets the highest standards of ISC2 sales excellence.

• Play a role in creating a comprehensive induction course for new sales recruits, accompanied by relevant manuals that cover essential sales processes such as forecasting, thereby optimizing skills to enhance sales and revenue.

• Support Supervisors, Managers, and Sales Support in transitioning new hires to the sales floor or field sales, while planning their ongoing development needs.

• Mentor sales managers on both external and internal sales processes as they review these processes with their team members.

• Collaborate with regional sales leaders and the corporate sales training team on special projects or external consulting requirements where the sales Learning and Development team can facilitate desired organizational changes and growth.

• Offer best practice guidance and programming that aligns with our sales course offerings and leadership principles.

• Conduct classroom, e-learning, and blended training sessions within the region.

• Provide training on internal sales process methodologies such as sales forecasting and CRM, alongside selected external professional sales process methodologies like Miller Heiman Sales Training.

• Contribute to the design of the overall sales training curriculum that addresses ISC2's strategic needs, as well as a colleague curriculum that enhances specific interpersonal skills through courses that complement our other offerings and integrate with core leadership L&D programming.

• Analyze sales skills assessments and review results with individuals and their managers, actively participating in follow-up activities to demonstrate acquired skills.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of sales training provisions against ISC2 standards regarding appropriateness, quality, and level. Propose revisions to existing sales courses and create presentations and short courses from scratch for project work, consulting with sales leaders on regional challenges.

• Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration between sales enablement and other internal teams and departments.

• Close gaps between sales and other departments to ensure alignment with marketing, product, and customer support.

• Facilitate communication within the sales enablement team and keep stakeholders updated on initiatives.

• Complete train-the-trainer external sales training and achieve certification to facilitate the courses ISC2 opts to present in-house.

• Perform miscellaneous duties as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.

• Certification in sales methodologies and skills is an advantage.

• Over 7 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in sales, with a proven history of achieving sales targets.

• 2-3 years of sales management experience.

• 3+ years as a dedicated Sales Trainer is preferred.

• Strong skills in WebEx (Training Center, Meeting Center).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• Outstanding facilitation abilities, both virtually and in person, capable of engaging highly educated and technical colleagues in learning leadership and communication topics.

• Solid understanding of business and sales leadership practices, with the capability to apply this knowledge in classroom settings and consulting, utilizing strong consulting skills.

• Basic understanding of the principles and benefits of E-Learning.

• Strong project management skills to ensure timely completion of projects and deliverables.

• Good instructional design knowledge to assess programs for effectiveness and personally craft short programs and presentations.

• Familiarity with sales skills assessments, 360 assessments, and soft skills assessments to assist in interpreting results.

• Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize a variety of projects and responsibilities.

• Demonstrable application of ISC2 values and competencies.

• Experience with AI tools or a demonstrated eagerness to learn is preferred.
