This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main point of contact and relationship manager with the VA Operations lead.
• Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap for approximately 15 Operations projects.
• Facilitate discussions on prioritization using ROI, risk assessment, technical dependencies, and VA-wide requirements.
• Oversee 3–4 simultaneous projects from initiation to delivery.
• Manage delivery across Linux and Windows server environments, Oracle, Salesforce, MuleSoft, and AWS Lambda.
• Evaluate staffing needs and review resumes and qualifications for roles in infrastructure, security, and DevSecOps.
• Validate proposed solutions, staffing plans, and estimates in collaboration with technical leads and delivery teams.
• Assist with cost proposals and rough order of magnitude estimates for new Operations initiatives.
• Identify, monitor, and manage portfolio risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate impacts across portfolios and manage shared resource or infrastructure dependencies.
• Maintain oversight of project-level status, burn rate, schedule, and risk reporting.
• Keep the Operations backlog updated in Jira or a similar tool.
• Aid in the onboarding and ramp-up of new project personnel.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of roadmapping, estimation, and delivery processes.
• Bachelor's degree along with 7 years of relevant experience in managing technology products and/or projects.
• Associate's degree with an additional 2 years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma with an additional 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in managing technology projects focused on infrastructure, security, or IT operations.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows server administration, Oracle, Salesforce, MuleSoft, and AWS Lambda/serverless services.
• Experience in creating and maintaining product/project roadmaps and prioritizing across multiple projects.
• Proven ability to manage 3 or more concurrent projects.
• Experience in reviewing technical resumes and evaluating candidates for infrastructure, security, or engineering roles.
• Experience in contributing to cost proposals, estimates, or statements of work.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery practices, Jira, and Confluence.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to assess and communicate impacts across programs.
• Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal clients is preferred.
• Familiarity with CyberArk/PAM and secrets management is preferred.
• PMP, CSM/PSM, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• 100% remote work.
• Full-time W2 employment.
• 40 hours/week with availability during core business hours from 8 am to 5 pm ET.
