• Take ownership of and expand the BESS proposal-to-operation toolchain, which transforms the BYOC pipeline into deployed megawatts, ensuring Voltus achieves industry-leading time and cost efficiency for bringing a C&I battery online.
• Delve deeply into co-optimization. Convert battery sizing, market engagement, and revenue aggregation across capacity and energy markets into tools that generate credible and competitive proposals swiftly.
• Develop using AI as a core component, not just an accessory. Take charge of and enhance the automated workflows that underpin our storage tools, applying AI throughout the stages of discovery, prototyping, and delivery.
• Function as both a project manager and engineer. Define project specifications, create prototypes, validate them with customers, and iterate while remaining actively involved in the product development.
• Manage the program organization-wide. Collaborate with Sales, Energy Markets, Partnerships, and customers to identify, prioritize, and deliver features that expedite BESS deployment.
• 3–6 years of experience in product management, technical program management, product or hardware development, or a closely related field.
• Direct involvement in the battery storage industry as an engineer, PM, or developer, with a solid understanding of co-optimization and the value generation of batteries across capacity and energy markets.
• Practical experience with AI agents and AI-driven workflows. You have utilized them and, ideally, have built solutions using them to automate significant tasks.
• Strong inclination towards building: comfortable with prototyping, employing AI for quicker delivery, and producing results rather than only defining specifications.
• Excellent written communication skills, whether crafting a concise PRD, an insightful competitive analysis, or a well-organized strategic memo.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, make decisions with limited information, and apply structured, analytical thinking that resonates with engineers on system-level issues.
• Exceptionally motivated to achieve success and possess a strong sense of self-initiative.
• Unlimited leave for full-time employees.
• Parental leave.
• Comprehensive benefits package designed to support health, wellness, and financial security.
