Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary communication link between Product Management and Engineering teams, ensuring alignment on product objectives, priorities, and technical specifications.

• Convert high-level product vision and business requirements into clear, actionable technical strategies for engineering.

• Promote ongoing, transparent information exchange so both teams have a shared understanding of what is being developed, its significance, how it will be executed, and when tasks will be completed.

• Oversee backlog grooming, ensuring that engineering has the necessary context, clarity, and details for effective planning and execution.

• Maintain product coherence across features and releases, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision.

• Prepare release notes and communicate updates to both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. personnel security clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

• 3+ years of experience in product management or technical project management, ideally within aerospace, defense, or high-tech hardware/software sectors.

• Strong grasp of software or hardware development lifecycles and methodologies, as well as engineering backlog management.

• Capability to convert business needs into clear functional requirements and technical solutions.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with tools for backlog tracking, release management, and metrics monitoring (e.g., Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or similar).
