This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Advocate for scalable features and strategies that yield significant business impact across various domains.
• Create and document happy-path diagrams for different personas and scenarios.
• Collaborate with business partners, Product Managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to establish product requirements and direction.
• Propel technical innovation while enhancing software design and architecture.
• Align technology strategies with business outcomes throughout the organization.
• Develop and implement the company's technical and business strategy in partnership with engineering leadership.
• Integrate AI strategies and adopt cutting-edge best practices.
• Conduct technical due diligence and architectural evaluations of third-party technologies and solutions.
• Experiment with ideas, test hypotheses, validate assumptions, and propose solutions.
• Record standards, best practices, and engineering artifacts.
• Lead initiatives for continuous learning and process improvements.
• Engage in hiring processes and mentor team members.
• Oversee customer delivery engagements and offer partner support for large-scale solutions and intricate issues.
• Analyze data and analytical capabilities to guide product decisions and assess the impact of product changes.
• Manage product development utilizing agile methodologies.
• Serve as a translator between technical and business stakeholders.
• Identify and address technical issues alongside engineering and relevant teams.
• Execute other assigned responsibilities while adhering to company policies, processes, and legal guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering or a comparable level of expertise.
• Proven experience in driving technically sound data solutions that align with business objectives.
• Strong technical foundation in BI platforms and data warehouses.
• Capability to assess vendors’ technical strengths, weaknesses, and alignment with business objectives.
• Skill in defining technology vision, developing roadmaps, and prioritizing features based on customer needs and market dynamics.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering teams regarding technical feasibility and best practices.
• Proficient in identifying and resolving technical issues to enhance serviceability.
• Experience in leading customer delivery engagements or supporting partners on large-scale solutions and complex challenges.
• Ability to analyze data and analytical capabilities to inform product decisions and evaluate product-change impacts.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Proficient in bridging the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end BI development.
• Experience in product planning, roadmapping, and feature prioritization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Capable of identifying and resolving technical problems.
• Proficient in analyzing data to make informed decisions.
• Experience in the financial services or FinTech industry is preferred.
• Required degrees must be obtained from accredited institutions recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
