This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the product backlog from start to finish in Azure DevOps, encompassing epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization.

• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.

• Convert product vision into a structured, sequenced roadmap and advocate for priorities.

• Transform ambiguous requirements into clearly defined, actionable tasks for engineers.

• Drive unresolved requirements towards clear decisions.

• Remove obstacles for engineers by providing context, clarification, and timely decision-making.

• Coordinate priorities and dependencies among engineering and data teams.

• Identify and communicate scope, timeline, and delivery risks effectively.

• Collaborate with data teams to evaluate metrics and reporting capabilities within the data warehouse.

• Ensure product requirements are technically viable, measurable, and aligned with business objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience managing a software product backlog.

• A minimum of 2 years working on a technical product directly with engineering teams.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including Boards, work item hierarchies, queries, iterations, and backlog management.

• Demonstrated ability to convert broad or vaguely defined product vision into an actionable backlog and delivery plan.

• Strong data fluency, including engaging in discussions about tables, data grain, metrics, and data quality without the need for writing production SQL.

• Exceptional written communication abilities.

• Strong product judgment with the capacity to make independent decisions.

• Confidence to challenge requests, establish priorities, and decline when necessary.

• Nice to have: experience in martech, advertising operations, SaaS, or reporting/analytics platforms.

• Nice to have: experience with franchise or multi-location businesses.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and/or Power BI.

• Nice to have: experience in establishing or enhancing a product delivery process.
