This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of the Central Data Platform Roadmap.
• Establish and prioritize the roadmap for Central Data Platform functionalities.
• Discover opportunities to centralize, standardize, and productize data capabilities throughout the organization.
• Manage competing priorities, trade-offs, and technical limitations to maximize business value.
• Relay roadmap decisions, priorities, and delivery progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Convert business challenges and analyst requirements into precise product specifications.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, rollout strategies, and success metrics.
• Ensure that requirements consider scalability, maintainability, performance, and speed of delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions accurately represent business logic and technical specifications.
• Align stakeholders on priorities, schedules, dependencies, and delivery strategies.
• Identify risks, eliminate obstacles, and drive execution across various teams.
• Foster transparency regarding delivery status and platform functionalities.
• Work with teams to validate functionality, data integrity, and successful releases.
• Assess adoption and business impact of platform features.
• Seek opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance data quality, and boost the reuse of platform investments.
• Integrate user feedback and performance metrics into subsequent roadmap planning.
• Over 5 years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Management, Data Product Management, Technical Program Management, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with central data platforms, data infrastructure, data products, or enterprise analytics solutions.
• Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, cloud platforms, or contemporary data tools.
• Experience in supporting customer-facing data products or analytics use cases specific to business units.
• A strong background in collaborating with Product Analysts, Data Engineering teams, or Business Unit stakeholders.
• Proven experience in enhancing data governance, reusability, auditability, or platform adoption.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools.
