Technical Partner Manager, EMEA Payment Methods

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain robust, long-lasting relationships with essential partners in the financial ecosystem, acting as the main point of contact for technical questions and operational assistance.

• Work closely with partners to outline and execute successful integrations, ensuring that all technical criteria are fulfilled and projects are completed within deadlines.

• Set Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance benchmarks for partner accounts, utilizing metrics and data analysis to assess and enhance partner health and satisfaction. Consistently lead technical reviews to boost partner performance.

• Collaborate across various Stripe teams—including Engineering, Product, and Partner Development—to support and promote process improvements and technical solutions that benefit partners.

• Aid in resolving incidents by coordinating with internal teams to effectively manage partner communications and resolve issues promptly.

• Identify inefficiencies in Stripe’s operational model and propose effective solutions (covering both technical and operational needs) to address these challenges.

• Offer continuous training, documentation, and support to partners, enabling them to utilize Stripe’s technology and products effectively.

• Collect feedback from partners to guide enhancements in internal processes and product features, ensuring that customer needs are met within the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in partner management, technical project management, or business operations, particularly in managing external-facing relationships.

• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead small-to-medium-sized projects with external partners and cross-functional internal teams.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• A customer-centric approach and a strong sense of urgency to scale products and operations through partnerships.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in utilizing data to improve decision-making processes.

• Capacity to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to travel when necessary.

• Proficiency in English.
