Technical Operations SME

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert focused on identifying, developing, and implementing technical solutions to support real-world ISR mission efforts.

• Function as a command and control liaison between the customer and mission platforms.

• Conduct research and development on emerging technologies, equipment, and TTPs to support MSO’s operational solutions.

• Maintain and continuously enhance personal technical proficiency in relevant technologies, TTPs, and equipment.

• Collaborate and coordinate with other Metrea entities, customers, and external vendors, while representing Metrea at relevant technical trade shows, workshops, and other events.

• Enhance technical proficiency and foster customer relationships by serving as an instructor for the department on an occasional basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• 20 years of experience in a similar role, including a minimum of five overseas deployments with Special Operations Forces or the IC in a technical operations capacity (SI/EW operator, tactical Cyber operator, or equivalent).

• Must demonstrate above-average initiative and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.

• Must have strong technical expertise in Signals Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, and Cyberspace theory, operations, TTPs, equipment, and related technologies, including but not limited to: LINUX, computer networking, antenna construction/employment, and HF/VHF/UHF, DMR, GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE, 802.11, and Bluetooth protocols.

• Must possess experience and a working knowledge of Human Intelligence/Counterintelligence TTPs.

• Must have the ability to quickly acquire proficiency in emerging technologies and TTPs.

• Must exhibit strong communication skills and a proficient command of the English language, both spoken and written, and be comfortable with public speaking and presenting to customers.

• 20 years of experience, including at least five deployments with Special Operations Forces or the IC in a technical role (SI/EW operator, tactical Cyber operator, or equivalent).
