Technical Leader – Wastewater – Mill Sustaining Capital

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical guidance and specialized knowledge in water and wastewater systems at manufacturing facilities across North America.

• Ensure adherence to regulations, enhance operational reliability, and promote cost-effective performance within the industry.

• Revise and manage a five-year, class IV capital expenditure plan aimed at optimizing treatment processes.

• Lead a collaborative team comprising plant representatives, capital engineers, technical experts, equipment suppliers, and service providers focused on water sourcing, treatment, reuse, and wastewater management.

• Guarantee compliance with all environmental permits, regulatory stipulations, and corporate sustainability goals.

• Recognize and implement opportunities for cost reduction, water reuse, waste minimization, and energy efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or a related Engineering field.

• Over 15 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment, environmental systems, or industrial utilities.

• Proven expertise in treatment technologies (e.g., biological systems, clarification, filtration, chemical treatment, sludge processing).

• Experience with process optimization techniques such as statistical analysis, process control, and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean).

• Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams and successfully execute projects within defined scope, timeline, and budget.

• Background in mentoring and developing engineers and technical personnel.
