Mid-level Full Stack Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in an agile team environment, participating in all agile ceremonies and contributing across all phases of the development lifecycle.

• Design, develop, and maintain code that fulfills requirements while ensuring high quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

• Implement standards and best practices that encompass performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

• Revise and sustain system design documentation.

• Evaluate and offer feedback on functional and technical specifications.

• Contribute to enhancements in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by utilizing methodologies such as test-driven development (TDD), static code analysis, code reviews, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated security scanning.

• Collaborate closely with technical architects to ensure that system designs adhere to industry best practices and standards in compliance with federal security requirements.

• Provide operational support expertise, including debugging software to resolve production issues and analyzing root causes of faults or problems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in core Java.

• Experience with RESTful web services.

• SQL and data modeling expertise, including familiarity with ORM tools/frameworks like Hibernate.

• Background in developing applications and collaborating effectively within an agile environment.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, complemented by effective listening skills.

• Familiarity with Git or other distributed source control systems.

• Knowledge and experience in Federal IT security guidelines and practices, including Section 508/Accessibility.

• Understanding and experience in cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure).

• Capability to contribute individually as well as demonstrate strengths as a member of an agile team.

• Experience in communicating and collaborating with software developers, business owners, and management.

• Bachelor’s degree.
