Software Engineer Manager – Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage two engineering teams, collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Data.

• Ensure that teams deliver results with high quality, speed, and alignment with business goals.

• Cultivate a high-performance culture centered on ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

• Develop and nurture team members through regular feedback and tailored development plans.

• Ensure effective alignment and communication among squads and stakeholders.

• Monitor and advance engineering metrics such as quality, performance, and productivity.

• Participate in tribe-level strategic decisions, linking technology to business outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related discipline.

• Experience in software development.

• Proven experience in people management and leading engineering teams.

• Familiarity with distributed systems and high-scale/high-availability environments.

• Understanding of system architecture and best engineering practices.

• Experience working within cross-functional teams (product, design, data).

• Excellent communication and influencing abilities across various organizational levels.

• Capacity to make data-driven decisions that focus on business impact.

• Preferred / Nice-to-have: Previous experience in the user account domain.

• Knowledge of experimentation (A/B testing) and user experience optimization.
