Technical Lead, .Net

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level applications, services, and data platforms utilizing .NET.

• Implement object-oriented programming principles to develop modular, testable, and maintainable solutions.

• Engage directly in coding, debugging, performance enhancement, and resolving complex issues.

• Direct the implementation of APIs, microservices, and data integrations across various systems.

• Assist with data-driven components, including analytics, reporting, and machine learning-enabled features as required.

• Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical coaching, and daily problem-solving activities.

• Aid in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and capacity alignment with delivery leadership.

• Ensure compliance with coding standards, CI/CD practices, testing frameworks, and secure coding guidelines.

• Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Data Science, and Infrastructure teams.

• Convert functional requirements into technical designs and implementation strategies.

• Articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Advocate for automated testing, code quality, performance optimization, observability, version control, and deployment pipelines.

• Remain up-to-date with .NET, cloud platforms, and contemporary data ecosystems.

• Enhance development processes, tools, and overall team efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8–12 years of experience in professional software engineering.

• Proven experience in a hands-on Technical Lead or Senior Engineer position.

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, and associated frameworks.

• Proficient in object-oriented programming, service-oriented architecture, and scalable application design.

• Experience in designing and delivering scalable, production-ready systems.

• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB.

• Understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and distributed systems.

• Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Azure; AWS/GCP experience is acceptable.

• Experience in Agile development environments.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Docker, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

• Preferred: Knowledge of data analytics, visualization, reporting frameworks, and basic machine learning or statistical modeling.
