Founding Product Engineer – YCombinator Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create new product functionalities from initial concept to final production.

• Collaborate closely with Product teams and customers to pinpoint high-impact issues.

• Design and implement full-stack features encompassing frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure.

• Rapidly prototype and test product concepts.

• Take ownership of features throughout the entire process, from architecture to deployment.

• Utilize customer feedback to drive swift iterations.

• Establish scalable foundations without unnecessary complexity.

• Enhance developer experience, testing procedures, and product reliability.

• Contribute to both product and technical strategy development.

• Engage with complex systems, large-scale integrations, and real-world technical challenges.

• Shape architecture, product vision, and engineering culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Solid background in full-stack product engineering.

• Proven experience in developing products from early-stage ideas.

• Strong product intuition and a focus on customer needs.

• Ability to act swiftly while ensuring engineering excellence.

• Excellent communication skills and a sense of ownership.

• Background with YC-backed or venture-capital-backed startups is preferred.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
