Technical Lead – Angular, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily technical execution for a collaborative product engineering team.

• Engage directly in solution architecture, intricate implementations, code evaluations, debugging, release preparation, and production assistance.

• Transform product specifications and architectural guidance into well-defined designs, service agreements, development tasks, and testable segments.

• Proactively identify dependencies and risks at an early stage.

• Establish practical standards for component and service boundaries, security, performance, observability, testing, and maintainability.

• Mentor engineers, offer constructive feedback, and influence technical choices.

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and DevSecOps teams.

• Showcase working results promptly.

• Manage technical debt and delivery-related risks.

• Ensure dependable overlap for PST with remote teams.

• Take ownership of technical delivery across Angular, Python APIs, and cloud-native services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong recent hands-on experience with Angular 17+ and TypeScript, with readiness to work in Angular 19.x.

• Proficiency in standalone components, RxJS/signals, state/change detection, typed Reactive Forms with conditional and asynchronous validation, Material/CDK, reusable components, accessibility, performance, and frontend testing.

• Experience exclusively with React or AngularJS is inadequate.

• Knowledge of WebSockets, REST-based durable changes, optimistic concurrency/version checks, reconnection, stale-state recovery, conflict presentation, notifications, and safe undo functionality.

• Significant production experience with Python and FastAPI or a similar framework.

• Familiarity with Pydantic-style contracts, SQLAlchemy/ORM, REST design, authentication, and validation.

• Understanding of asynchronous execution, long-running tasks, progress events, retries, idempotency, cancellation, and failure recovery.

• Experience with relational data modeling and SQL/PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of versioning and audit patterns.

• Experience with AWS, containers/EKS or Kubernetes, S3, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.

• Ability to troubleshoot issues across frontend, API, data, and deployment layers.

• Experience with unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing.

• Proficient in code reviews and safe refactoring.

• Familiarity with SonarQube/static-analysis quality gates.

• Competence in secure dependency management; application logs, metrics, and traces.

• Background in life sciences or clinical technology is a plus but not essential.

• Exposure to study-design concepts and standards such as objectives/endpoints, arms and cohorts, eligibility criteria, Schedule of Activities, study schemas, amendments, CDISC, USDM, CDASH, or ODM is preferred.

• Awareness of GxP/CSV, ALCOA+, audit trails, electronic records, requirements/test traceability, and validated-state change control is advantageous.
