Senior Full Stack Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive features utilizing responsive React user interfaces along with secure ASP.NET back-end services.

• Architect and implement database layers leveraging Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.

• Develop and deploy applications using automated CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps.

• Enhance performance across React components, back-end services, and SQL queries.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.

• Perform code reviews to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.

• Write automated tests using xUnit/NUnit, Vitest, or React Testing Library.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and manage technical debt as well as production bottlenecks.

• Guide junior team members and take the lead on feature initiatives independently.

• Provide support for U.S. Navy Reserve business systems across web and mobile-responsive development, SharePoint, AI/ML, data warehousing, system administration, networking, and AWS cloud services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering; alternatively, CSSLP, GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD), or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) certification.

• Over 7 years of experience in development using ASP.NET, React, Node.js, and relational databases.

• Valid SECRET security clearance.

• Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, JSX/Angular Templates, and T-SQL.

• Practical experience with .NET (C#), ASP.NET, JavaScript, Node, React, and MS SQL Server.

• Strong grasp of software design patterns.

• Familiarity with project management and issue-tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jira.

• Skilled in version control systems, preferably Git.

• Ability to juggle competing priorities and effectively manage multiple projects.

• Excellent communication skills and capacity to adapt swiftly to complex situations.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or SaaS development is an advantage.

• Background in AI-assisted development and AI/ML concepts is desirable.

• Experience in software development within Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban is preferred.

• History of building and maintaining business systems for the Department of War or Navy Reserve is a plus.

• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing production environments is advantageous.

• CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certifications are preferred.
