This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Localizing, editing, and proofreading marketing communications, which includes web content, in-store materials, direct mail, print, and various other resources.

• Validating the localized marketing copy specific to your market.

• Ensuring consistency with approved translations, utilizing translation memory and glossaries.

• Adhering to grammatical, spelling, and punctuation standards.

• Effectively applying brand writing guidelines.

• Working across a variety of tools including CMS, collaborative editing platforms, and task management systems.

• Ensuring high standards of output by following established workflows, checklists, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in editing or proofreading, whether on the agency side or client side.

• Native proficiency in British English.

• Strong understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances pertinent to your market.

• Demonstrated experience in editing, proofreading, or localization, preferably within the marketing or advertising sector.

• Exceptional command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in British English.

• Proficient in using Mac applications.

• Ability to adapt and refine content to be consistent with brand tone and guidelines.

• Keen attention to detail and a consistent record of meeting deadlines.

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities while maintaining quality in fast-paced settings.

• Capability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with remote teams.

• Ideally holds a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Marketing, Communications, or Linguistics.

• Familiarity with systems like CMSs and translation platforms.

• Comfortable navigating structured workflows that include checklists, SOPs, and defined routing paths.

• Confidently switching between various tools and platforms.
