Technical Documentation Engineer – Python Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain organized technical content utilizing DITA/XML within AEM Guides.

• Convert intricate technical details into modular, reusable content elements.

• Implement retrieval-aware authoring techniques to enhance content discoverability and reusability.

• Oversee content lifecycle processes including versioning, publishing, archiving, and decommissioning.

• Collaborate with AEM Guides and AEM Sites for content creation, publishing, and lifecycle oversight.

• Establish and uphold metadata, taxonomy, and classification frameworks across DAM systems.

• Create Python-based automation to facilitate content processing, validation, and workflow enhancement.

• Integrate API and LLM-based services to assist with content tagging, summarization, and retrieval.

• Aid in content ingestion and migration, ensuring structural and metadata consistency.

• Ensure compliance with content governance, standards, and best practices.

• Enhance content and metadata for optimal search, retrieval, and reuse within DAM systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in applying technical writing methodologies with DITA, XML, and structured authoring principles such as topics, maps, and reuse strategies.

• Strong proficiency in Python programming for automation and system integration.

• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).

• Experience with AEM Sites for content creation and publishing processes.

• Knowledge of Adobe Edge Delivery Services.

• Exposure to LLM APIs or service-based integrations.

• Understanding of Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, including principles of content modeling, metadata, taxonomy, and organization.

• Awareness of cloud/SaaS documentation environments.

• Basic comprehension of retrieval-based concepts (e.g., RAG).
