This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop scalable, secure, and resilient automation solutions utilizing n8n and associated integration platforms.
• Create hybrid automation patterns employing n8n, Boomi, application programming interfaces, event-driven systems, and artificial intelligence agents.
• Construct workflows enhanced by artificial intelligence that facilitate intelligent decision-making, human-in-the-loop controls, prompt management, and model integrations.
• Establish development standards, reusable templates, exception handling protocols, retry strategies, approval processes, and security measures for enterprise automation.
• Execute environmental strategies, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, versioning, and governance frameworks for automation workflows.
• Implement logging, monitoring, reliability safeguards, anomaly detection, and alerting systems to enhance uptime, workflow reliability, and recovery time.
• Define responsible artificial intelligence governance concerning model selection, cost management, prompt and version oversight, data privacy, and auditability.
• Lead technical design discussions, workflow assessments, architecture evaluations, and post-incident analyses.
• Guide engineers, contractors, and implementation teams in automation design, artificial intelligence agents, prompt engineering, and ethical automation practices.
• Utilize metrics such as adoption rates, cycle-time reduction, service levels, recovery time, workflow costs, and business impact to inform enhancements.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering.
• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise automation, workflow engineering, integration engineering, or platform architecture.
• Extensive hands-on experience with n8n or Boomi, focusing on building cross-functional automations, artificial intelligence-enabled workflows, agents, and orchestration patterns.
• Proficiency in designing application programming interface-first and event-driven architectures, including REST, webhooks, OAuth, JSON Web Tokens, API security, and secure integration of AI services.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including AI or machine learning services like Amazon Bedrock or Azure OpenAI.
• Practical experience with large language models, prompt engineering, artificial intelligence agents, observability, monitoring, and automation metrics to enhance productivity, reliability, quality, scalability, cost, or cycle time.
