Network Automation Engineer – Automation, Single Source of Truth, AI Agents

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• You will automate network and security platforms for major enterprise clients.

• You will create Infrastructure-as-Code solutions utilizing Ansible, Terraform, and contemporary DevOps methodologies.

• You will establish Single Sources of Truth using NetBox or Nautobot and incorporate them into current operational workflows.

• You will orchestrate automation and AI agents through platforms such as n8n.

• You will integrate network, security, logging, and monitoring systems via APIs and event-driven workflows.

• You will develop automation platforms tailored for intricate infrastructure environments.

• You will assess new technologies and introduce innovations into production within customer settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in networking, security, automation, or DevOps.

• Networking knowledge at a minimum of CCNA level.

• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, YAML, YANG / NETCONF / RESTCONF, Postman / Bruno & Co.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Terraform, or comparable technologies.

• Strong critical thinking skills when dealing with AI systems: you challenge results, ensure that an agent has executed the intended action, and take accountability for the outcomes.

• Proficiency in German (at least C1) and English (at least B1/B2).
