This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.
• Direct the planning, guidance, and implementation of intricate environmental investigation and remediation projects, ensuring completion within defined scope, timeline, budget, and regulatory requirements.
• Offer expert-level technical insight on contaminant fate and transport, geology, geochemistry, hydrogeology, engineering principles, and other pertinent physical sciences.
• Create conceptual site models, assess remedial technologies, anticipate project requirements, and generate comprehensive cost estimates.
• Supervise and review technical documentation including remedial investigations, feasibility studies, cleanup action plans, and state-specific regulatory submissions.
• Guarantee adherence to state and federal environmental standards to achieve regulatory closure or meet client-specific objectives.
• Establish and uphold internal health and safety protocols, quality assurance, and technical standards for practice.
• Foster and enhance relationships with clients, referral sources, industry partners, and key influencers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities that align with growth objectives for the practice.
• Represent the firm in significant client meetings, professional associations, and industry events to boost visibility and market presence.
• Convert client requirements into actionable scopes and project strategies, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance evaluations for technical staff throughout project phases.
• Guide team members in technical development, project management, and client engagement.
• Collaborate with Principals and senior leadership to shape growth strategies for the practice area, resource planning, and future project pipelines.
• Conduct field supervision for critical phases of complex investigation or remediation projects as necessary.
• Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, and safety expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional licensure (PE, PG, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Extensive experience in environmental investigation and remediation, particularly in managing complex projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of contaminant behavior, hydrogeology, and remediation techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to generate business and maintain robust client relationships (seller-doer model).
• Experience in leading teams and mentoring technical personnel.
• Excellent communication and project management abilities.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for client meetings and field supervision.
