Regional Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and propel the growth of Harvard Business Impact (HBI) throughout the Middle East, pinpointing strategic opportunities and establishing long-lasting institutional partnerships.

• Cultivate and oversee relationships with high-ranking academic leaders and government officials, including chancellors, presidents, deans, and ministry representatives.

• Create and sustain a robust pipeline of partnerships, positioning HBI as a reliable long-term collaborator for universities as they undergo digital transformation and adopt AI technologies.

• Lead, mentor, and support a small regional team, promoting accountability, teamwork, and alignment with global strategies.

• Formulate and implement the regional sales strategy to meet revenue goals and enhance HBI’s institutional presence.

• Collaborate with global teams across marketing, product, and customer success to ensure coordinated outreach and the delivery of value to institutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership within education, publishing, professional services, or related fields.

• Demonstrated success in managing intricate institutional sales cycles and cultivating long-term partnerships with universities or government entities.

• Experience in crafting and executing regional growth strategies.

• Ability to establish trustworthy relationships with senior academic leaders, institutional executives, and government stakeholders.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to operate autonomously in a regional leadership capacity.

• Knowledge of higher education systems and the dynamic landscape of digital and active learning solutions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in Arabic or another regional language is highly desirable.

• Willingness to travel within the Middle East region (approximately 50%).
