Technical Director – Building Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume both operational and strategic leadership as Branch Manager for the building and industrial construction divisions.

• Secure new construction projects while nurturing and enhancing existing client relationships.

• Oversee and manage project execution in terms of costs, timelines, quality, and occupational safety.

• Develop budgets, oversee financial control, and guarantee the profitability of all projects.

• Lead, inspire, and cultivate a multidisciplinary team.

• Ensure adherence to legal standards and industry regulations within the construction field.

• Collaborate closely with internal departments and external stakeholders, including planners and subcontractors.

• Further refine and execute business strategies to boost the branch's market presence and competitive edge.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.

• Multiple years of professional experience in a senior role within building or industrial construction, ideally as a Branch Manager, Senior Construction Manager, or in a similar capacity with comparable responsibilities.

• Extensive knowledge of construction execution, project management, and contract law, including VOB/BGB.

• Demonstrated success in acquiring and executing major construction projects.

• An entrepreneurial mindset, robust analytical abilities, and a focus on results.

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, coupled with strong negotiation capabilities.

• A readiness to assume responsibility and make entrepreneurial decisions.

• Proficient knowledge of construction and planning software, in addition to MS Office.
