Technical Development Engineer, Film

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver both proactive and reactive technical processing and application support linked to M. Holland’s market activities.

• Work closely with the MH Commercial team to enhance the promotion of both new and existing grades.

• Develop and deliver training materials for M. Holland employees.

• Partner with M. Holland Suppliers to elevate technical awareness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of customer-facing technical experience with Resin Suppliers, Extrusion Processors, or Distribution organizations.

• Experience working in a matrix organization that includes Market Development, Sales, and technical resources.

• Capability to identify and present product solutions at both processor and OEM levels.

• Ability to operate independently from a home office while collaborating with Commercial teams.

• Expertise in polymer testing and failure analysis.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & TEAMS.

• A four-year technical degree is preferred but not mandatory; customer-facing technical roles such as Process Engineer, TDE, and/or Application Development Engineer are advantageous.

• Willingness to travel overnight within the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
