This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with various disciplines to identify the optimal methods for achieving the collective vision for the game.
• Advocate for and maintain the development of technical workflows and production pipelines.
• Serve as a technical authority within the team, ensuring access to high-quality tools, documentation, and best practices.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the engine, its functionalities, and supplementary development tools.
• Maintain strong system architecture throughout the department, focusing on reuse and optimization.
• Represent the technical design team in engagements with all departments.
• Capability to work across disciplines and offer constructive, easy-to-understand feedback to any team member.
• Strong technical scripting abilities, ideally in both visual and text-based scripting.
• Self-driven in addressing creative problems and technical challenges.
• Proficient in analyzing and deconstructing the work of peers.
• Solid understanding of game and level design principles.
• Effective and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• It would be beneficial if you also possessed:
• Good familiarity with programming languages such as C++.
• Understanding of optimization techniques and technical constraints.
• Knowledge of network replication and its limitations.
