This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Establish learning objectives tailored to client requirements, develop course outlines, design content and activities that align with the specified objectives, and create slides and instructor guides for live online training sessions focused on data and AI.
• Oversee the content development process for programs from start to finish, setting objectives and timelines while implementing tracking mechanisms to communicate progress to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Comprehend and adhere to clients’ strategic goals, translating their needs into curriculum specifications.
• Work in collaboration with subject matter experts and account managers to ensure effective design, development, implementation, and feedback processes, taking into account various aspects of learning such as assessment, delivery, and facilitation.
• Offer guidance to both internal and external stakeholders regarding best practices in online learning design and development while presenting innovative solutions.
• Contribute a content and learning perspective to decision-making, evaluating the pros and cons based on the learning experience and the desired goals and outcomes for each program.
• Provide suggestions for content delivery methods tailored to learner profiles, client objectives, and subject matter.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of the EdTech and corporate learning landscape.
• 5-7 years of experience in a Learning or Instructional Designer role.
• Proven track record in executing projects aligned with company and client objectives, with a strong understanding of how projects influence goals and the ability to prioritize based on impact.
• Proficient in designing corporate training programs for AI and related technical subjects.
• Expertise in developing courses for online learning, including both synchronous and asynchronous formats.
• Comfortable with making quick adjustments and functioning amidst some ambiguity; actively seeks clarity through open and thoughtful communication.
• Data-driven and focused on achieving results.
• Possesses a proactive mindset; demonstrates tenacity.
• Collaborative nature with a proactive approach to communication, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed, while being self-sufficient in determining suitable channels for collaboration.
• Self-aware and open to learning and growing from experiences that did not yield the expected outcomes.
• Eager and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent written communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
