Technical Design Authority

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop customized network security frameworks for customers, assess and authorize advanced security configurations based on best practices and standards, and actively participate in the initial deployment of solutions and proof of concepts.

• Engage in the pre-sales process by assisting the sales engineer in establishing the appropriate security posture for the customer.

• Stay updated on industry changes in network security, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance security management and keep abreast of new technical trends.

• Collaborate with partners and vendors to meet customer expectations as agreed.

• Create and validate technical standards, reference architectures, deployment guidelines, and technology roadmaps in close coordination with product management.

• Generate technical documentation and revise standards and guidelines as needed.

• The TDA Security may be assigned to one or more existing customer accounts to provide ongoing support during and after delivery. The customer will regard the TDA as the "subject matter expert" for technical advice and consultancy on any security-related matters.

• In this position, the candidate may occasionally be required to work on-site at customer locations.

• This role offers flexibility within a team of highly skilled architects and encompasses a wide range of technologies, including LAN/WAN, Voice, Network & Information Security, Internet Services, and UC Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in the network security sector.

• Ability to develop design solutions (both physical and logical) that adhere to engineering best practices.

• Proven expertise in Fortinet and Palo Alto security design concepts, implementation, and support.

• Demonstrated capability to work independently in a multi-vendor, enterprise-scale environment.

• Familiarity with technology methodologies such as ITIL V3.

• Serve as a security expert within the Managed Services Team for Service Delivery, Engineering, Operations, Product, and Project Management.

• Knowledge of offensive or defensive hacking is advantageous.

• Proficient knowledge and experience in Fortinet and Palo Alto security design concepts, implementation and support, SASE and SSE environments, multi-platform design and implementation, and SD-WAN technologies (including Aruba Edgeconnect, VMWare Velocloud, Forti Secure SD-WAN).

• Capable of designing and architecting multi-platform solutions for managed security service clients.

• Act as the technical lead during project planning, management, and implementation of client solutions, including pilot and POC deployments.

• Participate in project meetings with clients to discuss and gather detailed design requirements, best practices, and consultancy concerning security posture.
