This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise strategy that aligns QSight’s Vision, Resilience, and Community platforms with measurable business objectives.
• Take ownership of the architecture, design, and quality of the OM Innovations platform (Vision, Community, and Resilience), ensuring that software solutions are scalable, reliable, and high-performing.
• Lead the complete execution of product roadmaps and releases, facilitating cross-functional delivery and ensuring that features and enhancements are delivered on time across multiple agile teams.
• Act as a technical player-coach, demonstrating leadership through hands-on engagement in architecture, design, and code reviews while establishing high engineering standards.
• Directly supervise and mentor engineering and product teams, promoting a high-performance culture through guidance, career development, and strong accountability.
• Oversee teams working with a diverse technology stack (Python, .NET, ASP.NET, React, MVC, and microfrontends) to provide integrated and cohesive platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Management and business stakeholders to convert strategic priorities into executable plans, ensuring alignment between product vision, engineering delivery, and customer value.
• Maintain responsibility for platform stability and operational excellence, encompassing production support, site reliability, and incident response.
• Advocate for best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and quality engineering to enhance system availability, security, and performance continuously.
• Manage technical debt and optimize cloud architecture (e.g., GCP) to balance cost-effectiveness with long-term scalability and quality.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, decision records, and implementation playbooks that promote consistency and expedite delivery across teams.
• Engage hands-on when necessary to demonstrate patterns, unblock delivery, and strengthen implementations—developing targeted reference solutions, prototypes, and production enhancements in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Provide expert consultation during incidents or performance events, working alongside relevant teams to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
• Over 9 years of software engineering experience, including more than 5 years in technical leadership positions (e.g., managing development teams or leading complex software projects).
• A proven history of delivering enterprise-grade software products or platforms to the market is essential.
• Domain expertise in supply chain, healthcare, or SaaS platforms is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in team management, including performance coaching and talent development.
• Strong engineering foundation – proficient in modern cloud architectures (microservices, GCP/AWS, CI/CD, DevOps) and software development best practices.
• A product-focused mindset with the ability to balance customer needs and business goals in technical decision-making.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience aligning technical teams with business stakeholders.
• Expertise in agile methodologies and adeptness at managing execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
