Technical Customer Advisor – Technical Consultant, Profit Center Machines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Engage with rental partners in key regions throughout Italy, negotiate terms in collaboration with Partnership Management, and foster robust relationships with rental branches.

• Provide guidance to customers regarding equipment needs, operational conditions, and timelines.

• Coordinate efforts with Key Account Management, who is responsible for maintaining customer relations in Germany.

• Conduct site visits as necessary.

• Assume comprehensive responsibility for rental operations in Italy, including procurement, logistics, ongoing support, returns, and invoicing.

• Evaluate market potential by region, customer segment, and equipment category.

• Serve as a subject-matter and cultural intermediary between the Italian market and German processes.

• Identify processes that may not align with the Italian market and devise optimized solutions.

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Operations, Key Account Management, and Partnership Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in business-level Italian with a solid understanding of the Italian market, ideally possessing an existing network in the construction or equipment rental industries.

• Proven experience in independently managing projects or customer relationships.

• Familiarity with remote work or a strong willingness to adapt to it.

• Organized, self-directed working style paired with proactive communication within the team.

• Strong affinity for digital solutions within the construction sector.

• Data-driven mindset with analytical capabilities.

• Consistent, clear communication with customers, partners, and team members.

• Excellent negotiation abilities.

• Proficient in business-level German or English to facilitate collaboration with the Munich team.

• Willingness to travel occasionally within Italy.

• Experience in construction equipment rental, construction, industrial installation, or construction logistics is a plus.

• Existing relationships with rental branches in Italy are advantageous.

• Background in renewable energy, especially ground-mounted photovoltaic projects, is a plus.

• Technical knowledge of earthmoving and construction equipment, aerial work platforms, and construction machinery is a plus.

• Familiarity with ERP and BI systems is an additional advantage.
