Technical Customer Advisor – Construction Machinery and Equipment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with customers to create equipment plans tailored for construction sites.

• Strategically plan machinery deployment, sequencing, services, as well as access and spatial requirements throughout the project's duration.

• Oversee complex projects from inception to completion.

• Provide guidance to clients and present alternative solutions.

• Assess availability, negotiate pricing and terms with rental partners, and manage the allocation of the company's inventory.

• Handle breakdowns, extensions, rescheduling, and damage cases independently while keeping customers informed proactively.

• Review supplier invoices, address discrepancies, and ensure accurate billing for customers.

• Manage designated accounts, follow up on pending quotes, and cultivate customer relationships.

• Identify recurring process challenges, escalate them in a structured manner, and contribute to process enhancements.

• Possess a strong affinity for digitalization, particularly within the construction industry.

• Communicate clearly and reliably with customers, partners, and team members, both in writing and verbally.

• Maintain meticulous documentation.

• Hold a completed university degree or relevant commercial vocational training.

• Exhibit business-fluent proficiency in both German and English.

• Demonstrate a willingness to see tasks through to completion, report issues at an early stage, and investigate the root causes of recurring problems.
