This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as a client-side resource for technical configurations, integrations, testing, and validation on implementation projects.
• Oversee daily project activities to ensure smooth client payroll transitions.
• Configure workflows to enhance system buildout efficiency.
• Develop custom reports and present templated reports during client implementations or optimization initiatives.
• Provide tailored system training to promote technology adoption.
• Evaluate current client processes to identify software opportunities that enhance value and functionality.
• Collaborate with clients to determine and prioritize their needs.
• Work with platform vendors to obtain solutions and design optimization strategies.
• Partner with leaders, project managers, and consultants to foster successful client relationships.
• Engage in pre-sales scoping analysis to assess project requirements and estimated hours.
• Participate in cross-training across Payroll, Benefits, HR, Custom Reporting, Integrations, and Data.
• Support the development of detailed project plans for technical configurations and integrations.
• Create and execute test scripts and audits throughout the SIT, UAT, Parallel, and Go-live phases.
• Act as a liaison among clients, platform vendors, and HCM Unlocked data resources to gather and validate data requirements.
• Oversee and provide input for inbound and outbound vendor integrations during design and testing phases.
• Review client technical architecture and suggest optimizations to prevent end-to-end data-flow errors.
• Ensure formal sign-off of technical configuration work at key validation checkpoints.
• Maintain the Open Issues log with the Project Manager and resolve technical configuration and integration challenges.
• Provide evidence of testing and validation processes.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and data validation tools to investigate issues and verify customer database accuracy.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
• 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume, client-facing implementation position within a vendor or consulting firm.
• In-depth knowledge of various Paylocity modules, including system implementation, custom reporting features, and payroll processing.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a client-facing implementation role.
• Previous experience in owning and leading a project.
• Experience in configuring Time & Attendance systems.
• Understanding of labor allocation requirements and integration with different time capture systems for payroll.
• High School Diploma is mandatory.
• Familiarity with integrations between third-party systems, such as API, EDI, or the batch processing of flat files.
• Competence in utilizing QA processes that document before-and-after outcomes and meet governance and audit standards.
• Ability to create client-specific test scripts to ensure validation of client data and technical configurations.
• Knowledge of PII data and governance requirements; capacity to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and employee information.
• Understanding of HR-related scenarios, including new hires, life events, terminations, and open enrollments.
• Capability to collaborate with Benefits teams on plan builds, testing, open enrollment launches, and eligibility management within HRIS/online enrollment platforms.
• Proficient in building, testing, and deploying EDI file feeds between insurance carriers and HRIS systems.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; proven organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills; ability to remain composed during customer escalations.
• Familiarity with, or a quick ability to learn, teach, and instruct on various HRIS software platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Preference given to candidates with Paycor experience.
