Technical Consultant – AV & Media Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take on technical responsibility for a significant international client in the energy industry.

• Evaluate requirements for meeting spaces and workplace settings.

• Validate appropriate AV and media technology solutions from the DEKOM portfolio.

• Review room conditions and estimate the effort needed for technical installation and implementation.

• Assist in the planning and execution of AV and media technology projects within Germany and, as needed, throughout Europe.

• Oversee video conferencing systems and AV installations during ongoing operations.

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.

• Ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

• Manage support tickets independently while collaborating closely with the central support team.

• Regularly coordinate in English with the client’s international contacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a communications or IT systems electronics technician, or an equivalent technical qualification.

• A minimum of three to five years of experience in consulting, installation, operation, or support for video conferencing and conference room technology.

• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN, switches, and routers.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Webex and Microsoft Teams.

• Proficiency in German at a C1 level.

• Proficiency in English at a C2 level.

• Experience managing international client projects.

• Experience in the technical evaluation and planning of AV and media technology installations.

• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe for larger projects.

• Independent, organized, and dependable working style.

• Strong service orientation and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
