Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with sales teams to create and recommend water treatment solutions for pretreatment applications.

• Serving as a reliable advisor to clients, evaluating system performance and formulating optimization strategies.

• Aiding in proposal development and providing technical expertise throughout the sales process.

• Performing site audits to evaluate water treatment processes and suggest enhancements.

• Offering technical training to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Representing ChemTreat at customer meetings, seminars, and industry events as a technical advisor and solution partner, influencing decisions and establishing trust.

• Converting customer feedback into product and solution enhancements, impacting future offerings.

• Functioning with a significant level of independence in the field, making timely decisions to tailor solutions to client requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent field experience).

• Over 10 years of experience with a leading water treatment company and proven technical expertise in pretreatment applications (including membrane filtration, ion exchange, and reverse osmosis).

• Experience in supporting industrial water or wastewater treatment processes.

• Capability to advise clients, influence solutions, and deliver technical recommendations in a customer-facing role.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
